WELCOME back to school everyone!

Pupils and staff in Reception through to Year 13 came together for this morning’s Ely Cathedral Service, which was led by our Principal, John Attwater.

Revd Dr Ros Lane, our School Chaplain, said: “We began the new term with our Easter Service in the Cathedral. We welcomed new students to our school community and we heard the Easter story from St Mark’s gospel of the women going to the tomb with their spices ready to embalm his body only to find that he had risen. Mr Attwater spoke about this story as being his favourite. The Choristers of Ely Cathedral Choir sang ‘This Joyful Eastertide’ – a Dutch Carol arranged by Sarah MacDonald.”

Mr Day from our Media and Marketing Team popped over to King’s Ely Junior during breaktime this morning and took these photos of some of our youngest prep pupils having fun in the sun and exchanging Easter holiday antics with their friends.

Here’s to a happy and fruitful Summer Term!
