Our Year 4 King’s Ely Junior pupils are currently learning about the importance and benefits of ‘Working Together’ in their PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) lessons.

And it is very much a case of positive vibes only, as Year 4 Teacher, Rachel Axten-Higgs, explains: “We started the new term by thinking about things that we are good at, and then writing and drawing these traits around a stick figure.

“We then worked with a partner to find out more about the things they said they were good at. After a short time together, we went away to try and write as many things as we could remember about what our partner had told us.

“Each child then stood up in class and told us all about their partner’s strengths. It was lots of fun and we learnt so much about each other. It was lovely to see how positive everyone was about themselves and their friends.”
