CHILDREN from King’s Ely Acremont Nursery were thrilled to get a visit from a tractor last week.

The school runs a number of visits throughout the academic year to encourage adventurous learning, with transport being the topic of this term. Last week, a police car and a fireman visited, and the week before they travelled on a real train. This week, it was the turn of the farmer, as current parent Mr Morbey kindly brought his tractor to the school. The children were overjoyed by the tractor’s presence and watched in awe as one by one they were welcomed to sit by the driver.
