How much are the Summer School fees?

The fees for the 2016/17 Summer School will be published in the Michaelmas Term.

Do you have any pick-up and send-off services for students from/to the airport?

Yes, we use a company called Flight Connections, which is DBS (police) checked, to collect students from the airport and deliver them safely at the boarding house. This is included in the fee.

Do the students take the exam such as TOEFL during the course?

No formal qualification is completed during the course, but students do leave with a certificate and a report detailing their progress.

How many students does one class have?

The maximum class size is 12. All students are put in classes with people of a similar level of English.

What is the curriculum on the course per day and per week?

English:8 hours a week,  Mathematics: 4 hours a week, Science: 4 hours a week, Humanities: 4 hours a week, Sports: 6 hours a week (minimum).

What do the students do at the weekend?

On Saturday mornings, students will have lessons and they will do sports in the afternoon. On Sundays, excursions are organised which complement the curriculum and are an enjoyable way for the students to relax and socialise and learn more about the British culture.

How do I accept an offer of a place and secure this for my child?
A deposit of £500 is payable to secure your child’s place at the Summer School.
