“Another busy week has flown by, bringing with it early signs of Spring and the prospect of sunnier days ahead, as we approach the mid-way marker of our academic year.

“The children continue to be engaged with their learning and through the technology of a ‘pop-up’ solar system, the creativity in our Reception workshop, and emerging engineering skills in the Nursery, we can truly say that it has been a creative week for us all.

“It was wonderful to welcome Nursery parents to our ‘At Home’, both in person and remotely, this morning. One highlight that we are keen to consider further, is the creation of termly workshops for our Nursery families, for the purpose of delivering themed information and sharing experiences as a community, to strengthen and develop our parent partnership.

“Looking ahead to next week, we look forward to celebrating your children at our Bookshare Afternoon on Thursday 9th February and at the whole-school Mid-Term Service on Friday 10th February. After half term, we will be gaining momentum for our annual Festival of Reading. Our week-long timetable of events will take place between Monday 27th February and Friday 3rd March, with the much-anticipated World Book Day dressing up day on Thursday 2nd March. We will also be hosting a ‘pop-up’ book shop as part of these events. Details of our plans have been sent with the newsletter for your reference.

“With best wishes for a relaxing and happy weekend.”
