“The half term break begins this afternoon (October 21st) for the children after what has been a most uplifting and positive first few weeks of the academic year for us all. The children’s efforts have been immense in creating the joyful momentum that we have been able to embrace in the classrooms, and on the pitches and fields we are so fortunate to have surrounding us.

“As the term progressed, we saw sponsored events, drama rehearsals, a Greek day, countless matches, cross country running, swimming galas, forest school club, archery, rowing, knitting, crocheting, Harry Potter club, Cantonese conversation club, cycling club, bouldering squad, Design Technology club, fantastic bakes and Food Technology all enriching what is on offer in the classrooms every day – to name just a few! There really wasn’t a dull moment and so we hope there has been something on offer for everyone.

“One other special aspect to this term has been our frequent contact with parents, carers and guardians, which has been so refreshing now that in-person conversations and visits have returned to their previous regularity. We look forward to more events we can share during the build up to the festive season and thank you for all you offer by way of support – whether that be via sponsorship, volunteering, organising, reminding or ferrying the children between their school commitments.

“The team and I send our most sincere best wishes for a restful and healthy half term.”
