“Happy New Year and welcome back. I hope everyone managed to have a good break over the holiday period. Whilst the Lent Term is very short, it is a pivotal one academically for all pupils, particularly those preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams. Year 11 are currently in the midst of their mocks and we wish them well in this endeavour, and Year 13s will have their final mocks after half-term. In addition to lessons, there is a full timetable of academic support sessions; we encourage pupils to avail themselves of these opportunities should they need extra help.

These opportunities include the Round Table Lecture series; Model UN; the Da Vinci Club (Engineers and Physicists); Turing Club (Coding); Avicenna (Medics and Vets); Beginners’ Greek; ‘Other Club’ (History); King’s Geographic; French Club; New Views (for aspiring playwrights) and History Café, to name but a few.
